DLTAPP12 + DLTAPP14 + DLRIT12 - Shutter Automation

Why choose these control units:
  • Innovative and exclusive system to control the opening and closing of all shutters from the local controls of each window without additional buttons
  • Grouping of windows and groups through simplified wiring and without software configurations, without grouping stations, without programming buttons , only 2 wires to wire the groups;
  • Ecological: consumption in Standby equal to ZERO (on the Internet there are control units that consume 1 watt in standby which per year are € 2 in the bill for each blind);
  • Assistance and connection diagrams for customized systems;
  • 230Vac power supply without additional power supplies which constitute a critical point of general failure;
  • Electrical insulation, uniformity and dust using two-component resin;
  • LED signaling operation;
  • 1 only type of product to make the whole system, including groups;
  • 1 only type of additional unit to control all groups from the same local window buttons;
  • Extremely compact dimensions: only 74x47x24.5mm.

Why not choose radio control units:

  • The range of the remote control is reduced due to a non-charged battery and / or radio interference;
  • Command to the most distant windows is not guaranteed (we think we have them closed and remain open);
  • It is necessary to change the batteries of the remote controls periodically, (it must be discovered that the farthest shutter is not controlled well, change the battery and dispose of the old one);
  • for holiday homes you can arrive after a long absence and find the batteries flat;
  • Fixed costs and energy pollution and battery change, (a standby consumption of 1Wh corresponds to about 2 € / year);
  • Remote controls are subject to breakage and cost much more than buttons.

Why not choose the other wired controllers:

  • The formation of groups of groups (eg group plan made by groups day and night) is not planned or is difficult;
  • They are often complex to program;
  • Constant energy consumption for each blind (1Wh corresponds to about 2 € / year);
  • Sometimes there is a single power supply which in the event of a fault locks the entire roller shutter system;
  • It is not possible to control groups from the local commands of any window;
  • The system is composed of different types of devices such as power supply, single control units, group control units, concentrators that require a preliminary study before purchase, limit modifications during construction and require more complex wiring especially if the components are distributed.

ATTENTION: the operation of the control unit is based on the fact that the limit switches present in the servomechanism interrupt the current absorbed by the motor at the end of ascent / descent, otherwise the control unit will continue to power the motor. Therefore, during assembly make sure that the limit switches are correctly calibrated and functioning. If necessary, evaluate the use of the DLTAPP14 control unit which allows you to set a TIMEOUT time for motor operation.

DLTAPP14 is equivalent to the DLTAPP12 control unit but with the addition of a microprocessor to have two motor TIMEOUT timers for the UP / DOWN directions with time adjustable by trimmer between about 10 and 110 seconds.

In addition there are two other LEDs to facilitate operation control.

DLTRIT12 delay unit for controlling roller shutter units

RIT12

Delay unit that allows a group of control units to be controlled using the same up / down commands of any control unit in the group.
This control unit detects the pressure of a button of any control unit in the group to which it is connected and after an adjustable time of between 1.5 and 6 seconds, extends the control to the whole group.
It connects in parallel to any general group buttons (which can also be omitted).
By dividing the shutters into groups it is possible to activate them in sequence, using multiple delays set at different times, thus limiting the current peaks.
  • usable for the control of all the shutters of the house from the command of every single window
  • also applicable in a second time to systems with DLTAPP12 / DLTAPP14 control units in parallel and / or in place of group commands without heavy modifications to the existing wiring
  • usable for departures of control units
  • Energy saving: Standby consumption <0.01W
  • Delay for group control adjustable with trimmer between about 1.5 and 6 seconds
  • Delay for the control of all the groups that can be bypassed through the STOP command followed by the desired command
  • Transmission of the STOP command to all groups with a delay of about 0.3 seconds
  • No software parameter, dip switch or jumper to be set
  • The system configuration is obtained through wiring
  • Double clamps to save external clamps and get cleaner wiring
  • LED indications to facilitate operation control
  • 230Vac power supply
  • Degree of protection IP20
  • Small dimensions WxDxH 47x74x24.5mm
  • Base with perforated fins for fixing
  • Individually packaged on blister
  • Instructions in Italian

Example of connection of a single DLTAPP12 control unit

Single unit connection

Control unit connection to operate the motor of a single shutter.

The diagram does not show all the safety systems that may need to be added if necessary: for example overcurrent protection, differential protection, motor thermal protection, anti-crushing protection, closed-window operation and more.

Example of connection of 3 units with group control

group 3units

Connection of control units with local controls and group control connected to the group wires without the need to go directly to a control unit.

The diagram does not show all the safety systems that may need to be added if necessary: for example overcurrent protection, differential protection, motor thermal protection, anti-crushing protection, closed-window operation and more.

Example of connection of 3 units with group control

group 3units

Connection of control units with local controls and group control connected directly to a control unit using the free terminals already present.

The diagram does not show all the safety systems that may need to be added if necessary: for example overcurrent protection, differential protection, motor thermal protection, anti-crushing protection, closed-window operation and more.

Example of connection of 3 units with double control group command

group 3 CS units

The double group control is usually used to control the group of shutters both from the entrance door and from the sleeping area corridor.

The diagram does not show all the safety systems that may need to be added if necessary: for example overcurrent protection, differential protection, motor thermal protection, anti-crushing protection, closed-window operation and more.

Example of connecting 3 units with control using the same Up / Down buttons

Group 3 units with DLRIT12

Connection of control units with local controls which, if kept for more than 1.5 seconds, extend the command to the entire upper group. It is therefore not necessary to have the group command buttons that can still be added.

The diagram does not show all the safety systems that may need to be added if necessary: for example overcurrent protection, differential protection, motor thermal protection, anti-crushing protection, closed-window operation and more.

Example of connection of 2 groups (living area and sleeping area) with 3 units each, with local, group and total controls

group 2 groupsS

Connection of control units with 2 groups (living area and sleeping area) with local, group and total controls.

The diagram does not show all the safety systems that may need to be added if necessary: for example overcurrent protection, differential protection, motor thermal protection, anti-crushing protection, closed-window operation and more.

Example of connection of 2 groups (living area and sleeping area) with 3 units each, with local controls that become group and total controls, extending the duration of the pressure.

floor day night delay

Connection of control units with 2 groups (living area and sleeping area) with local controls also extended to your group, the upper groups and the total system via delay control units.

By briefly pressing a button, only the local motor is activated, keeping the command pressed for about 2 seconds, the control units of the whole group are activated and extending the command for another 2 seconds, the remaining motors are also activated. This scheme can be extended by adding other groups at the same level and / or at higher levels.

Pressing the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously sends the STOP command to all the motors.

It is possible to activate all the motors without waiting for the expected delay, starting with a STOP command and releasing the unwanted direction.

The diagram does not show all the safety systems that may need to be added if necessary: for example overcurrent protection, differential protection, motor thermal protection, anti-crushing protection, closed-window operation and more.

Example of grouping with groups and subgroups

villa structure

In the previous example there are 21 roller shutters represented with circles, the rectangles represent groups equipped with DLRIT12 units

A command to any shutter is transmitted to all the upper levels and keeping it over a certain adjustable time, DLRIT12 units are triggered which will activate all the shutters of the underlying levels, thus allowing the groups to be activated using the local buttons.

Pressing the Up and Down commands simultaneously, DLRIT12 will send the STOP signal to all lower level units.

The control units used in the scheme are all of the DLTAPP12 / DLTAPP14 type without having to add power supplies, concentrators, BUS extenders and so on.

Eventually it is possible to add one or more DLRIT12 control units to extend the functionality of group commands to the same local commands present on each single window.

Example: by adding a single DLRIT12 control unit in the VILLA grouping, from any local control it is also possible to command the opening / closing of all the shutters of the villa simply by extending the pressure of the button.

By adding also a DLRIT12 in the PIANO1 grouping, it is possible from the local commands of the PIANO1 to command at will the single window, the whole floor or the whole villa.

Intervention delays must be set to scale using the appropriate trimmer in the DLRIT12 control unit, reserving an increasing value for the highest grouping levels (1 ROOM, 2 AREA, 3 FLOOR, 4 VILLA).

Example ROOM 1.5 seconds
  AREA 3 seconds
  PLAN 4.5 seconds
  VILLA 6 seconds

Pressing a button in a living room window immediately starts the shutter, after 1.5 seconds the other shutters of the living room are activated, after another 1.5 seconds the kitchen and bathroom shutters of the living area are activated, after another 1 , 5 sec. all the shutters in the sleeping area and finally after another 1.5 sec. the remaining shutters of the house.

It is possible to avoid waiting for the global command VILLA by simply pressing the UP / DOWN direction simultaneously and then releasing the unwanted direction.

Unlike many home automation systems, this type of system does not have a central coordination unit which, in the event of a failure, would compromise the operation of the entire system.

Unlike home automation systems, standby consumption is limited only to protections for network discharges and in any case limited to 10mW per control unit (it takes 100 control units to make 1 watt).

This system can however be controlled by a home automation system, remote control and / or cellular, through clean contacts connected in parallel to the buttons.
